After several years building and selling GuideSmiths (a successful technology company, and achieving a turnover of €9M with a team of 120 people in three countries), I realised how important it is to build a great team when it comes to growing, expanding and selling your company.


I learned that there is a science behind creating high-performance teams, so I am trying to apply it on my new software company Orbitant, while sharing my learnings and thoughts on my newsletter, podcast and community.

Co-Founder Orbitant

I had the opportunity to create another software consultancy company in partnership with Afianza (a large, fast-growing consultancy group from Spain). The goal is to build a next-generation business model leveraging AI: a “service as software” company.

We created and sold Sherpa Platform, a SaaS platform that helps SMBs manage their finances. It was sold to the Afianza group, and we partnered up with them creating Orbitant: a next-generation software consultancy company.

We managed to escale a business from 0 to 8M£ and from 0 to 120 billable seats.

After completion of my Software Engineering degree I spent the next few years building up an international career in Madrid, NYC, Sydney and London working in different software projects as Engineer, Team Lead and Architect. Most of these related to high-escalable, complex and performant web and mobile systems. Some of the companies I worked for includes Telefonica, British Gas, tes.com and Daily Mail.

After completion of my Software Engineering degree I spent the next few years building up an international career in Madrid, NYC, Sydney and London working in different software projects as Engineer, Team Lead and Architect.
