INTERNATIONAL ENTREPRENEUR APPOINTED AS NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR CORPORATE CONSULTANCY.
Felipe Polo, co-chairman and founder of leading software development company, GuideSmiths, has been appointed to the Board of the corporate consulting, accounting and legal services provider, Afianza, as a Board Advisor, to advise the firm on implementing technology to accelerate its growth.
Polo brings 15 years' experience in driving high-performance teams to Afianza's Board, following his integral role in the set-up and launch of GuideSmiths’ Madrid office after heading up large-scale migrations, continuous integration/deployment platforms and microservices builds with the consultancy in the UK.
With a €5 million turnover, Afianza is headquartered in Spain and employs over 120 people, and has ambitious plans to become truly digital, using technology as an enabler to underpin its customer centric approach. Polo’s expertise in the software and digital industry, as well as business operations and the creation of high-performance teams, will see him advise Afianza’s Board on a technology-led transformation to improve operations, streamline customer communications, harness data and increase revenue, whilst providing the highest value to its clients.
